The March in Washington D.C. should affect us all. (Race. Creed. Gender. etc.)
As I was watching the March on Saturday August 24, 2013 roughly around 8:00am,
It was a beautiful site to see so many people come together for a historical moment in life.
It sadden me that the Major Networks ABC CBS NBC and\or Regular TV did not air Live Coverage for a historical moment which 100% are their media buyers.
As the day progress and I am enjoying the speeches, I noticed the number of lighten up cell phones across thousands in the crowd. I can assure you "Everybody" had one. Texting, recording, videoing and giving their own interviews among each other during the history of the March. Young and Old snapping pictures.
Wow this is another beautiful moment I witness; being able to instantly share history.
The more I watched and listened the more distressful I became.
50 Years Later... Martin Luther King Jr. Had a Dream...
The technology after 50 years has improved for the equality for all but the rights for equality is still being challenged. I don't believe that was the Dream...
Camera phones in just about "Everybody's" hands to witness history 50 years later is technology.
Protecting voting rights, End Racial Profiling, Increase minimum wages (just wait tell I highlight that) secure Jobs for USA, Trayvon Law, Remove Stand Your Ground, Education Rights, Small Business Loans for more minority businesses than just the average $25,000 when a successful minority business needs $250,000 or more (Okay that wasn't there) but I'm just saying it should have been. All these things and many more for whatever your reason is... "What Was Your March"
THE MARCH with over 500,000 people marching for a CHANGE...
For me to witness history 50 Years later - the Rights for Equality for all is still being Challenged. The World must Change. United States American must Change.
Let's not wait another 50 years for a March, Let's MARCH Everyday!
STOP talking about it and DO it. When we wake up by the grace of our God, Let's Stand United for the Country we Live in: Demand for Equality for All. Demand for Our Jobs back in the USA or STOP supporting the very Companies who are taking away YOUR jobs. Demand higher wages and break the cycle of poverty living. Demand Banks to support Small businesses. Let's MARCH until a Change take Place. One March every 50 years in Washington D. C. is not enough for the Great Nation we Live in or wherever you live.
We are not free people we are in invisible chains. We must Boycott these Business as Martin Luther King Jr. did 50 Years Ago. That was the Change he stood for and Meant it. This Great Nation was it built for the Equality of All. It doesn't matter who said it first but It still is being challenged.
YOUR VOICE MAKES A DIFFERENCE. It was a time 50 Years ago, I could at least depend on neighborhood. When the sugar was low and down to two slices of bread or a bag of rice your neighbor gladly gave without QUESTIONING the offered help was there. We have a Welfare System screwed up. They don't offer help they offer a poverty mind state. The case workers tear you down. The Educational System is screwed up. No child left behind. "Who said That? There are more children left behind today than 50 years ago. Minimum wage was $1.25 with less expenses in 1963; 50 years later Minimum wage is between $6.24 - $7.25 with more expenses to endure like Camera phones and High Cable bills, (which ones aired the March - only a few aired the March) but we continue to support these companies. 50 Years ago for a college education it cost $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 at Universities now it cost over $34,000 - $48,000. After 50 Years and we say No Child Left Behind. The cost of living is less than that in smaller cities and these cities have NO JOBS>>> Yes, A Change Must take Place. The March Must Be Everyday. Protecting voting rights. 50 Years Ago there were 58% minority voters today it is 63% minority voters. Not every 50 Years My People to March, It's a SLOW Pace of minority movement. Demand these Banks for Small Business Loans to put minority business back into your community. If the Bank don't support your Needs TAKE your money out of their BANKS>>>
It is Your money put it in the safety of your home. What has your bank done for you LATELY; but charge outrageous dormant fees and service fees by the time you put your money in their BANKS you have lost most of YOUR hard earn dollars paying their fees. Support Local Banks that are for you and not for taking your money. 50 years ago we trusted the Banks now the Banks screw us everyday with there hidden charges.
BE CAREFUL you will be in the negative before you know What's going on. Which brings me to Marvin Gaye Song. "What's Going On" America and other countries I say What Is Really Going On?... Change your March to Everyday. Not 50 years from now.
I believe that's What Martin L. King Jr. would have done.
He would be singing a New Song supported by the World
"We Have Over Came" - Let's Show It!!!Since We Have SOOOO Many Great Singers Out There//// Write The Song... Just remember I want my percentage. This is P.S. - Get Your March On....
